It’s been 2 weeks since i started using Google Cash Detective 2 and man, I am lovin’ it so much! Although the concept of this piece of software is very straight forward, it’s got various ways to find a profitable PPC campaign in Google Adwords so I needed to spent a few good days to learn and really understand how to take advantage of it.
In the members area they have plenty of training videos (at this stage they have over 80 tutorial videos) and new ones are getting added as they do "Live Training" run by coaches from "Mastermind Pros" (Chris posts videos too).
Those video tutorials are very good. I’ve gone through about 8 of them so far and I’m grasping exactly how to maximize the power of GCD2 in my favor. Each video lasts 25 to 60 minutes so It would probably take a whole week to watch all of them. But i don’t think you need to do that. I would suggest you watch just a few main ones so that you can set up your first campaign with no confusion. Then as you are running a campaign or two you can check out more tutorials but only when you think you need to.
My first campaign has been running for 11 days now and it’s still profitable. My ROI as of today is 74% and I think it’s pretty good despite the minimal tweaking I’ve done and I know the ROI will get better in time to come (the goal is 100%+ ROI).
Speaking about "tweaking a campain", there is another great piece of software acompanied with GCD2 called Google Cash Automator (GCA). I just started to use it for my 2nd campaign I set up yesterday but i still need to learn a bit more to fully understand it (they have lots of video tutorials too) but basically, Here are what GCA does:
1. It tracks clicks and conversion of each campaign down to keyword level so that you will know exactly which keywords are more profitable than the others (this is what you can do with already profitable keywords that you picked with GCD2 software).
2. This is so cool - It automatically adjusts bids by analyzing number of clicks, cost per click and conversion rates, which means you don’t need to do tedious "manual tweaking" especially when you have lots of keywords to deal with.
Google Cash Automator is currently offered at $39.95/month on top of $97/month for GCD2 but like you get 7day free trial for GCD2, you can get 30 day free trial for GCA so you will have a plenty of time to test drive it. Is $136.95/month expensive? You may think so but for me it’s very well worth it, in fact, I already made enough to pay for the next 3 months with GCD2.
About My 2nd Campaign:
I used GCD2 yesterday to find this particular campaign that has been running for over 3 months and doing amazingly well according to the data. I do not wish to reveal exactly which campaign it is because i just cloned the entire campaign as my 2nd go. But it is one of the ClickBank products and it’s actually not highly ranked in the CB marketplace.
The data cannot tell how much this advertiser is making but I would say he is making serious amount of money as i can see he has rather a big daily budget for the campaign and running it for over 3 months in a row. He would not do that if he is loosing money…
I spent about an hour on GCD2 to find the campaign. Sometimes I can find a great campaign in just a few minutes but I like spending good 30 min to 1 hour to make sure that the one I pick is really a good one to clone.
Setting up a campaign is much easier. It took 30 minutes for me to do that with only 6 most relevant, high volume keyword phrases that have high "Profitability Index" (GCD2 has its own calculation method to see how profitable each keyword is).
Anyway, as i said I just started running my 2nd cloned campaign yesterday so hopefully I’m going to get a good result with it. I haven’t checked the stats today yet so I will head over to my Adwords account now and see what’s happening…
I will post again once I get some results worth posting.
